POLISH WOMEN IN BUSINESS is a not-for-profit organization, dedicated to fostering its members’ business interests, keeping them informed, creating business networks, and integrating Polish women-owned businesses into the mainstream US economy.
PWB was founded in 2006 by a group of energetic Polish immigrants in the Chicago metro area who owned their own businesses. From the very beginning, PWB became a great forum of co-operation and a network for Polish business owners. The organization is open to entrepreneurial and professional women who are willing to share their experience and knowledge with others and support each other in their business and professional ventures.
More than 9 million firms in U.S. are owned by women- 30% of all businesses in the country. These companies generate 1.4 trillion dollars in sales and employ nearly 7.9 million people.
